Private prescription

Not all medication can be issued through the NHS.  GP Practices are governed by guidelines and are managed by the Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group’s Medicine Management Team.

Some patients may have been seen privately, and if the medication prescribed cannot be issued under the NHS, the GP may consider issuing a private prescription.  The practice can issue a private prescription for a fee of £15.
