Children’s Health
The practice provides vaccination services for children from 8 weeks onwards. It is essential that when your child is 6 weeks old they are seen for a check up with a GP. The practice holds childhood immunisation appointments most day of the week during surgery hours and it is important that Parents note the schedule for the immunisation of children as required by Public Health:
- 8 weeks
- 12 weeks
- 16 weeks
- 12 – 13 months
- 3 years and 4 months
Parents of children, who may have missed their childhood immunisation, are advised to contact the practice to book an appointment with our Practice Nurse. The practice provides a catch up recall system.
Parents are strongly advised not ignore invitations sent by the practice in relation to childhood immunisation.
It is important that you bring the Childs’ Red immunisation Book. If the immunisation is in a different language, our reception team can provide you with the UK immunisation schedule template to enable you to complete with information the parent holds.
