The NHS conducts a patients’ survey all GP Practices and the results of this practice can be viewed on the this link – www.gp-patient.co.uk
The results reported in the survey are based on 30% response rate. Out of a total of 424 surveys sent, 129 surveys were completed and returned.
Where patient experience could improve.
56% of respondents say they have had enough support from local services or organisations in the last 12 months to help manage their long-term condition/s. The Hillingdon CCG local average is 77% and National Average I s78%
The practice will continue to offer, encourage and signpost patients with long-term conditions to other local services within the locality.
Our Receptionist staff are being training on signposting patients to services within the community, whilst our clinicians are proactively offering patients to other support services locally.
77% of respondents find the receptionist at the GP practice helpful. The Hillingdon CCG local average is 87% and the National average is 89%.
The practice has recruited additional staff to meet the rising demands on the back room support at the practice. Whilst the practice has trained our new staff, we continue to buttress their training with continued support to ensure that our receptionists are able to answer all the varying queries that a GP Practice has to respond to.
The practice is working on upgrading our website where answers to common queries can be found.
75% of respondents say the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was good at giving them enough time during their last general practice appointment.
The demand for GP appointment is on the increase and to help meet patients preference the practice offers flexibility of appointments either face to face or by telephone. We offer very early GP and Nurses appointments from 07:30 am and late appointments from 18:30 to 19:15. Please see out Home Page for detailed information.
The practice has recruited two Advance Nurse Practitioners to help provide clinical support to meet patients increased demand.
The practice has access to the Hubs within the locality to offer patients appointments in the week day from 18:30 to 20:00 and over the weekend. Details of the appointment booking times are available on our Home Page.
