Emergencies

Life Threatening Situations

Patients having life threatening situations, such as

  • pain in the chest,
  • breathing difficulties
  • clear signs of one side of the face sagging / slur in speech

MUST dial 999.  Please do NOT call the practice.

Same Day Emergencies

We are now triaging ALL requests for a GP appointment. There is no need to call at 8am as all requests received via PATCHS by 11am will be reviewed by the clinical team on the same day and the next steps will be advised to you.  Those received after 11am will be processed the next day. If you are unable to contact us via PATCHS please call before 11am and the receptionist will help you.

Examples of emergency situations

  • young children running very high temperature
  • a persistent medical condition which is not clearing after a week or two
